This snap does not capture the quiet dignity of what used to be the sailors' church more or less on Ramsgate dock side, with a smack boys home above and adjacent. Smack boys being Ramsgate speak for apprentice fishermen.

Built in 1878 by one Canon Eustace Brenan, vicar of the neighbouring Christ Church. So had the Eustace not been in the wrong position, we could have claimed a sort of family affiliation.
