Ramsgate 1

On the Monday to Ramsgate where, at the bottom of the cliff, we spotted this large building site on which work had been stopped very suddenly.

The money must have run out one fine day and the chaps must have come in the folllowing morning to find the seals on the doors. So we have the spectacle of rows of columns in varying states, some not having got much beyond their foundational holes. Presumably the administrators did not think it worth tidying things up before closing the place down.

Snap of just the southern end. There were at least a dozen rows of completed pillars.
