Israel

Intrigued by the advertisement snapped left in yesterday's FT.

What sort of business does Missouri do to justify a permanent representative in Israel? Does the County of Surrey have such representation? Perhaps not, being, a place with just one sixth of the population of the State of Missouri.

Missouri being best known to me for the Missouri Breaks and the number of bandits, Jesse James for one, who lived there in the immediate aftermath of the American Civil war. Maybe they have lived all that down now. See reference 1. And ask google maps for 'missouri breaks' to be shown some pictures of some striking country.

Those interested in applying should go to reference 2. Which looks, I am sorry to say, like the sort of bureaucratic fodder which I once used to be involved in generating. Or perhaps I should not be sorry; it might be a bit fodderish, but at least it is not corrupt, it is fair - and it does work after a fashion.
