Margaret Lemon

I have not posted the Gainsborough, which while available online, does not reproduce well on the small screen. It is a big picture in rather pale paint and the reproduction does it scant justice, so I forbear to publish it here.

The two portraits come off rather better, although the colours and the contrasts seem a little harsh. But their reproductions do give something of the flavour of the originals.
