Buildings

A snap of the extension (left) and some of the neigbouring buildings (right) to Tate Brick. I was rather struck by the thinness of the neighbouring buildings.

I think they are to be flats, so they will all have plenty of natural light and most of them will have fine views. But being so thin seems terribly unecological in this day and age. Very wasteful of material during construction and of heat during life. Perhaps there was a bill board somewhere which would have told us all about it; a closer look indicated next time.
