And not far from the derelict old peoples' home we have a large derelict house, complete with an annex and what looks like some kind of derelict workshop (to the right of the picture).

Once again, not impressed that the council cannot come to some sensible arrangement with the owner of the land, presumably a commercial developer, about what to do with it. Glad we do not live any nearer than we do.
