From time to time I complain about council attentions to road side verges and trees.
This to record that sometimes they get it right. That is to say that, a few weeks ago, shortly after mowing the banks of the stream down the Longmead Road, thus exposing a lot of unsightly litter, they sent in a litter picking team. So while I might have preferred the mowing not to have been done, it has, on this occasion, been done properly.
